Veronica Nicholson is a native of Dublin, Ireland where she graduated as a professional photographer in 1990. She has lived in various parts of Ireland working as a photographer, teaching photography, and making art. In 2012 she graduated with an MA from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin. 

 

In 2010 she moved to her uncle’s farm in Offaly in the centre of Ireland, where she currently lives and works as a full-time artist.

 

She has exhibited her work in many solo and group shows in Ireland, USA, Sweden, Germany, France and Korea. She is the recipient of a number of grants from the Arts Council of Ireland, Clare County Council and Offaly County Council. In 2012 she was awarded a Per Cent for Arts commission from Offaly County Council and in 2013 a Residency in Cill Rialaig Artists Retreat, Co Kerry.
